The solar fund 'Obton Impact' acquires a massive solar PV plant in Japan

At the turn of 2024, the Impact fund assumed ownership of one of Japan's largest solar PV plant of a total capacity of 147 MWp.

  • The PV plant is constructed on a former golf course, explaining its unique layout.
  • The facility commenced operations in May 2023.
  • The construction phase lasted a total of three years.
  • 362,000 modules and 2,138 inverters were utilized.
  • The PV plant is expected to produce over 100,000 MWh annually.
  • Located in the Miyagi Prefecture in the northern part of Japan.
