The solar fund 'Obton Impact' acquires a massive solar PV plant in Japan

At the turn of 2024, the Impact fund assumed ownership of one of Japan's largest solar PV plant of a total capacity of 147 MWp.

The PV plant is constructed on a former golf course, explaining its unique layout.
The facility commenced operations in May 2023.
The construction phase lasted a total of three years.
362,000 modules and 2,138 inverters were utilized.
The PV plant is expected to produce over 100,000 MWh annually.
Located in the Miyagi Prefecture in the northern part of Japan.
